One client gave us this information:

We don’t mind living near a mall (that is, like the Towne Center, not so much the character-lacking strip malls that plague Long Island), though we like that wide-sidewalk-with-cute-shops area that we spotted on a Cary website. What counts is that most of the basic stuff — supermarkets, movie theaters, bookstores, some fast food — is nearby. So something too rural where we’re driving 15 minutes to the supermarket or a bookstore would not be for us.
